Know Your Worth

Many of us have devoted to developing a love relationship. We tend to erroneously seek love, sensations and promises. The worlds version of love is something they want to fall into. Meanwhile, true love escapes them. True love can be found in an undistracted devotion to Jesus Christ. Let me explain.

The Bible says that God loved us, while we were still sinners; his love abound from his infinite goodness and mercy. God's love is steadfast and unchanging. And though we may grow distant from him or fickle in our attitude towards him, he continues to love us. There is nothing we can do to make God stop loving us. But what about us? Where does God stand in our lives? And where have you placed God in your life?

God knows that you will never be complete until you really understand that you are complete in Jesus. Colossians 2:9-10 says, "for in him all the fullness of deity dwells in bodily form, and in him, you have been made complete, and he is ahead overall rule and authority." When a person enters a career or even a marriage with without understanding that he or she's complete in Christ, they will be disillusioned and dissatisfied.

There is a false sense of security people have. Sometimes people really believe that if they get married or get a partner, they will have security. But that is not always true. People can be married and insecure. Divorced and insecure. Promiscuous and still insecure. Why? Because you do not understand the value you have on the inside and because of that, you will always sell yourself short

We live in a generation that we project all the right things and we believe he or she will love. Then he or she will accept me. I want to tell you that is not love. You do not have to become or imitate something or someone else. That my friend is not who you are. You have been created in the image of God. You must live, according to God's word. We should only align ourselves to God's word. We don't align ourselves to someone else's will for our life.

Security is an inside job and it starts with you. It always starts with you. Security is always the responsibility of the individual. Peace, joy, satisfaction that all comes from the inside out. That is the work an individuals must do. We must learn to be secure within ourselves.

The word of God says, the enemy comes like a thief in the night, and he comes to kill, steal and destroy. But God says that I'm unique, wonderfully made, and there's no one else exactly like me. God says that he created me and you in his divine likeness. God says, I must treat my precious body as if it was a holy temple, because a holy spirit lives in me. God says he knows the numbers of hairs on your head, and God says he will never forget you because he engraved your name on his hands. Isaiah 15:16

So we don't want to project security. We want to possess security.

Your emotions are valuable. Your mental health is valuable. Your purity is valuable. Your heart is valuable. Your soul is valuable your spirituality is valuable. and you have to protect it and you have to secure it. Scripture says you are fearfully and wonderfully made and you are a divine design you are valuable in God's sight.

Know your worth. When you know your worth you begin to walk in real security. Because you have something to protect and when you know your worth, you stop giving discounts.

Genesis 1:26, says you are made in God's image, accord to HIS likeness. Our identity is wrapped up in the Father and that is where you will find your confidence, boldness, and courage.
